In recent months online learning has been firmly brought to the forefront of most educator’s minds. In a recent survey of parents by Muddy Stilettos Schools only 56% of parents were satisfied with their children’s learning and development during the CV19 lockdown. It also showed that the schools that embraced technology, creativity and virtual social interaction delivered a more fulfilling educational experience to kids.
When correctly implemented, remote learning creates opportunities for effective teaching and collaboration outside of the classroom. And in recent times, a school’s provision for online learning has never been more important. Rapid uptake and steep learning curves have ensued by pupils, parents, and teachers alike. Through this time of crisis, many educators have seen the challenges, successes, value, and skill involved in delivering quality education virtually.
There is no ‘one size fits all’ solution for implementing online learning in your school. Each setting will have slightly different requirements and opt for a different technology to reach their goals. Whether you choose to try ZOOM, Google Classroom, or Microsoft Teams, we explore remote learning generally as well as signposting different platforms. We develop strategies to guide your staff through the processes involved in becoming online learning literate. From thinking about the curriculum and how you can best deliver engaging and exciting lessons, to the best procedures for feeding back and marking work.

Sunil Naphray is a highly skilled practitioner with wide ranging cross-sector experience over 27 years. He has excellent proven abilities in teaching, training, coaching, assessment, research, consultancy, leadership, and management. Sunil has worked in the Post-16 sector, Schools, Higher Education, Voluntary and Community and Offender Learning. As a trained English & Maths teacher, he delivers high-quality training courses for practitioners and develop training packages from KS1-KS4. As an examiner for the English-Speaking Board (ESB) for Speech, Language and Debating qualifications, Sunil has worked in a range of independent, state, preparatory and senior schools and colleges across the UK. As a qualified practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Life Coaching and Hypnotherapy (ACCPH accredited/Student Finalist 2019, Life Practice UK), he also supports clients with mental health issues which impact on teaching, learning, work, business and general well-being. He has produced many podcasts on developing the subconscious mind, growth mindset and appeared as a guest speaker on ‘Biz Breakfast’ (LinkedIn) and the Sikh Channel. Sunil also have proven skills in E-Learning and developed video-based courses on platforms such as Kajabi and Udemy and created a range of electronic resources and quizzes to support teaching and learning.
